This upgrade is free to all existing customers as a big 'Thank you' for most of you who has been waiting for this update. You can download the the beta in your account now. If you find any bugs or have questions about this release, please post them to the new Hot Property 1.0 forum.

The result is Mosets Tree 2.0.6, which has a complete support for Joomla! 1.5 with legacy plugin. You can expect whole lots more development in this regards in the coming months. The main objective for Mosets Tree at this point is to continue releasing maintanance update to improve the overall stability of the extension. Effort will be made to maintain compatibility for templates and field types built for Mosets Tree 2.0 so that you will know that the custom field types and template you built for your sites will be compatible across all 2.0.x upgrades.

Moving forward, we will phase out our support for Joomla 1.0.x soon to make way for native Joomla! 1.5 support. If you're building a new site, we strongly suggest you to use Joomla! 1.5. If you're running an existing site on Joomla 1.0, don't worry, we will continue providing support to you.

As for Hot Property, we are currently working on an update which will have native support for Joomla! 1.5. So you'll get all the template overide goodness that comes with Joomla! 1.5. In a non-technical speak, that means you can create custom template for Hot Property without touching Hot Property's files. A developer release will be available in the next couple of weeks once we have completed the rewrite. Stay tuned!

Top of the list is the support for Joomla! 1.5's native SEF. Now you can have SEF URLs right out of the box without needing a third party SEF extension. Although we are maintaining the Beta status for Joomla! 1.5 support, we recommend all users to use Mosets Tree on Joomla! 1.5. We have been doing this ourself on Mosets Help and it has been great.

RSS now support category specific RSS for both new and updated feeds. Just add '&cat_id=X' (replace X with a category ID) to the end of your feed's URL and you will have a category specific feed.

We've also done some tweaks to improve Mosets Tree's performance particularly in it's front-page by reducing the number of SQL calls made. In some set ups, it reduces the SQL calls up to 40%.

As usual, this release contains hosts of bug fixes which will improve overall Mosets Tree stability.

The site is built on top of Joomla! 1.5 Stable and Mosets Tree 2.0.5. The site template is a customized template based on javanya site template by Firsta Yudith.

The most important announcement for this version is the beta support for Joomla! 1.5. It has been tested to work with Joomla! 1.5 RC4 and is expected to work once Joomla! 1.5 stable is available. Legacy plugin needs to be enabled in order to use Mosets Tree in 2.0.5 Joomla! 1.5.

Although we have tested most of the functions under Joomla! 1.5 environment, we expect to find bugs since this is the first release of Mosets Tree that supports Joomla! 1.5. If find any, post the bugs to the forum or open a ticket to support AT mosets.com.
