MTree v. 2.3.1 IIS PHP 5.2.5 Versus Apache PHP 5.3.1

Hi Guys,
I have installed mtree on a IIS on windows 2003 with php 5.2.5, here mtree works fine and I see the tree with roots and folders. But when I install the complete website on the ISP site which is a linux/apache server with php 5.3.1 I do not see the tree anymore, only the root icon is visible, no folders or sub folders. I guess the problem could be php 5.2.5. The Joomla version is 1.5.15 on both sites.

Any sugestions ?
