Placement of Modules on the Front page

I am looking for imformation regarding the placement of modules on the front page. I would like to know how to place the featured property listings on the front and property types on the front.

Number 6 and 8 on the diagram below,

Number 6 is the featured listings you can activate in the back-end. Go to HotProperty configuration in Joomla! and under the 'Prop. Listing' tab look for 'Front Page' - you can set this to display featured properties like in the image.

Number 8 lists the property types and the individual listings. This will grow as you get more listings. You can change the order of the types. In the back-end if you go to 'manage types' it let's you re-order them on the front-page.
